I’m no Bridgen supporter but this story appeared in the Times a day or two after he went public about Johnson. A supposed leader of the 2019 intake who were thought to be putting in letters (Dehena Davison?)had stories of her drinking whisky during the day splashed across the Daily Heil. The MP from Melton was part of the same group hence the Pork Pie plot being on being on the front pages. Bridgen called it out at the time but because he’s normally near the top of the Westminster village idiot stakes his cries of foul play didn’t gain much traction.
