What are you currently listening to....

British Sea Power - Do You Like Rock Music.

Forgotten what a fantastic record this is. If you like Arcade Fire, I would imagine you would like this.

Dire Straits - Money for Nothing

(Listening to Kerrang! at the moment)

To Ohio - The Low Anthem

shuffling the MP3 player whilst invoicing - the only time I get a prolonged listen to music these days

Metallica - Fight Fire with Fire

Cheers Paddingtonwolf ;p

Green Day - !Tre! (album)

This morning's drive to work was accompanied by Rage Against The Machine's self titled debut album. What a fucking stormer!

I have bought that album 5 times, and I currently need to buy a 6th, it still sounds really fresh. There's nothing like blasting out 'bullet in your head' before rocking up to the office and doing whatever your boss tells you to do for the whole day....

A mouse that is scratching the vent, which it is stuck behind.

Might be worth you checking out the XX release of it, with the original demo tape as a bonus cd then...

Just for NWW - here is my playlist:

The Suburbs
Intervention
Neighborhood #2 (Laika)
Keep the Car Running
City With No Children
Black Mirror
Suburban War
Ocean of Noise
Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)
Wasted Hours
Windowsill
Wake Up
No Cars Go
We Used to Wait
(Antichrist Television Blues)
Haiti
Rebellion (Lies)
Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)
Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)

Beautiful. Epic finish!

I'd add Empty Room and My Body Is A Cage

Empty Room isn't one of my favourites TBH. My Body Is A Cage is awesome, but as I'm a playlist Nazi, I couldn't fit it in there. I love Tunnels as a closing track as much as an opening track - I could have ended with Wake Up otherwise. But I don't think My Body Is A Cage works anywhere other than the last song.

I haven't heard of any of those bands! :(

Getting old and out of touch with music sucks.
