Very poor game from both sides. West Ham are dreadful and worryingly we haven't really opened them up. Nowhere near enough coming from Jota or Costa and Doc has probably (despite a few errors) been one of our better players, which sums things up. Silly fouls still being given away Boly could have put us in trouble a few times. Jiminez has been lively but looks so isolated. We will need a massive improvement from this to take points off anyone.

Traore on for Costa at HT needs to happen

Severe lack of incision at the moment. We've hardly even attempted to run at them or in behind, I'm not one who thinks Traore is the answer to all our problems but he will scare the living bejesus out of them if he gets on.

"If Doherty could cross" is starting to turn into "If my auntie had knackers" - same thing every week. If you can't be bothered to learn how to cross properly at least just run to the byline and hit it low and hard, always a chance something could come from it. Just do SOMETHING.

Jonny has been pretty hesitant attacking wise agreed, again I don't think Jota is giving him much help though. In fact Jota's been pretty anonymous apart from his headed chance. One daft moment from Boly aside everyone else has been ok, Moutinho the standout again.

It's not just his crossing, it's when he puts them in sometimes. There was a cross he put in earlier when Raul was all on his own and the cross was dealt with easily, he could have hit the byline and pulled it back. Like I say he's got in the positions but he's been gash with the ball when he has.

I was once made to eat my words by Neves when he smashed one in to row Z shortly after joining and then 5 minutes later rifled one in to the top corner (Banjo likes to still bring it up now). But I agree. Neves & Moutinho have wasted so many chances to recycle possession by hammering a pointless shot in to the stands.

We’ve been dire today. Don’t care what anyone says.
