Welcome to Wolves Vitor Pereira

If he was getting smashed and crawling into a taxi in the early hours then I’d be a bit concerned but pretty sure he’s just having a couple of beers then going home.
The difference in general feeling of the crowd is very jovial and enjoyable compared to when I went to the Palace game where it was snappy and felt like a row between fans would erupt at moments notice.

Well I'm not suggesting we chain him to a radiator at full time. I'm saying that stopping it while you're doing well will be a lot better optically than when you're struggling. It'll prevent all sorts of accusations of cowardice etc.
Also the risk of an angry pissed up fan/fans hurling abuse and such in an accessible area.

It’s one of those isn’t it. Great when we’re winning and especially since the GoN days. But when we lose a couple in a row (which we will eventually) you open up the room to ‘you should be working’ ‘you’re shit’ etc etc

Slightly different, but look at the stick rashford got for being at the boxing, for example. Or Maddison at the darts that one time

I agree, and maybe the end of this season will be a natural break to it, but I think a lot of the fans need this unifying time.

Rather see Vitor loving life than a miserable cunt like Potter or Ange muttering and moaning
I like it, just highlighting the risks with it etc.

End of the day, he’s just a bloke who has a life away from his work

I think it’s great that he’s comfortable enough to do this, and of course, winning 6 in a row makes it a lot easier - but I agree with everyone else that has said it probably needs to be quietly put to bed when this season finishes.

Having pissed fans screaming songs in your face - I dunno, there’s probably better ways to interact with the fanbase - and those same fans are the ones that would be throwing abuse at him if things turned sour. But for now, it’s great - everyone’s enjoying themselves and of course, he’s entitled to do whatever he wants in his own time!

IMO it’s lovely to do all the silly chants and get hyped with him, but at a point you have to stop treating him like some kind of hero. Let him have his drink, maybe offer to pay for one, thank him for is work, and be done.

Not saying people chilling out will happen but I love that he’s connecting with the support in such a tangible way and hope it can continue. I think ultimately @Del Woppio is correct, though. When results dry up, being at the pub will look aloof or outright unbothered, and not showing will look like he can’t face the support. A shame, really.

I think he's more than astute enough to calm the whole thing down to the point where he goes to the pub, and chats with the fans without the numbnuts chanting all night long.
May mean the moon gets less visits, but he'll sort it.

He chose Codsall over the Moon on Saturday so maybe he is already starting to do that

Two additional Wolves/pub anecdotes of mine:

1) Around 2003 we were playing away against someone in a Saturday 3pm kick off, I didn't go, happened to be in town and went in the shit Irish pub that used to be just off Queen Street (I have no standards). Who should be propping up the bar but Keet Andrews! Bemoaning to all and sundry that he couldn't believe he wasn't involved. Er, mate. Maybe where you're spending your spare time might have something to do with it

2) Spotty little herbert Mark Davies drinking WKD while obviously underage in the Spread Eagle in Short Heath. He was an absolute fucking knobhead

My only offering of meeting Wolves related players is Don Goodman in my local one Sunday afternoon to watch a local band. I think pretty much every Wolves fan has met him though.

Not a pub as such but the Parlors Hall in Bridgnorth when Mick was manager and got chatting to him in there, lovely bloke

I was in the Moon on Saturday after the match (trying to complete the glory mission by seeing VP but no luck) and the chopper with the cowboy hat (apparently well known on SM??) tried to jump the queue and push in before me and my lad...boils my piss, that

I have no sympathy with you after going in one of the worst pubs in Western Europe (owned by the melted Brexit Thundercat)
