Welcome to Wolves Bastien Meupiyou - Hope he does well

He'll be into double figure first team minutes before we know it

Yes he was lurking in a video last week.

Spent most of his time injured and played a few U21 games
Was in the back of the "first day at the club" vids for the new lads, wasn't he? I thought he might have featured in the cup for us at least - similar to Lima, but it seems both of them are very much "ones for the future".

I don't think Vitor thinks Lima is ready. Was quite vocal on his weaknesses after the Forest game.

Of our 7 Summer signings, 2 aren't ready for the first team, 1 will be going back, 1 took ½ a season to be ready and isn’t first choice, a keeper who isn't any better than the one we had (I'm being generous) and 2 relative hits. That's poor given where the squad was at, before you even consider we didn't address one of our 2 biggest glaring needs

Not sure what the average 'hit' rate is for signings. Personally I think Gomes, Larsen and Andre have been varying degrees of good signings. I'm still hopeful for Lima. As for the rest, a complete waste of money.
You'd expect as time goes on we'd be better at finding talent in our price range but we seem to go backwards.

Lima was always one for the future. We just made a noise about him arriving as we stole him off Chelsea.

If we weren't so deep in the shit he would probably have a few more games under his belt though.

Yeah, I'm not criticising those signings in isolation, the book isn't written on them. They weren't what the first team needed now though and when we sell Cunha and IF we reinvest it then it can't be on that type of player
Oh but it will.

I just have a sense of inevitability about it all to be honest. A matter of when not if. If we stay up, We will bring over 100m in sales again and the team minus Joao and Cunha will be very weak again.

My only hope is that Vitor doesn’t take any shit (so he probably walks) and that they can’t make the same mistake for a third time (they can)

You can't just ignore him.
Apparently he's on loan to Solihull Moors :)
