Raul played a full 90 in a game which finished at about 5am Wed morning UK time, so it'll be Friday before he'll be back at the club. I doubt that'll make a difference to him starting but he may be jaded.

You know that whatever you say you will not get past my fear of the jinx.Last year was pretty much the first year we nailed it even if we did fuck it all up against the worst team in the league. So I am hoping for the new trend of jnx breaking to continue. However we have three to potentially break this week!

Never had any worries on that really

Watford may give us more problems than Burnley/Soton or Palace did, but no reason to think we can't come away with 3 points - defence really hasn't given up much so far & would expect the same personnel out there for this one

I know how to ticket tout, gents. Don't worry on that score.

Watford play very narrow in midfield, they look to their fullbacks for width but both Janmaat and Holebas are missing. I like Doucouré but he's up against our two, I think we can deal with him. Set pieces are a threat for them (although again, Holebas normally takes a load) and Deeney can give anyone a game if you let him. But we should have enough. Their form's been going south, they had four home games out of five at the start of the season which skewed things a bit.

Would expect Coady (with suitable assistance from Boly & Bennett) to be able to deal with Deeney - as for the fullbacks giving them width then as long as Jonny & Matt are awake then that shouldn't give us nightmares.

Anyway would hope that we are well into their half most of the time anyway
