I don't know what Edwards is trying to prove keep picking Tchatchoua, are we missing something? I get rotation during the current run of games but surely this is the third game on the bounce?

It’s quite simple IMO. Is playing Gomes going to make it more likely you to concede - yes. Is it going to make us more likely to score - probably not.

Jackson is shit on the ball; Gomes isn’t as bad but isn’t good at anything either.

I think Tolu is bang average to shite, but the dropping him to the bench option is a proven failed tactic. The ball is coming straight back again.
Well the plan has to be playing through the thirds and getting into Mane and JRB feet. It can work, whether it does we will see. Those four are our better players and they are missing their first choice 3 there.

I don't think it's any deeper than not being any of the other options and what he thinks of them. Doherty should never be WB again, Rodrigo is poor when he starts and I'm not sure Lima exists. Much as people want to manifest Mosquera there he'd look like a puppy chasing a balloon.

He's an awful, awful footballer for all the reasons discussed over the last 6 months, but I can't plant my flag and say X should be playing instead.

Does it really make it that much more likely we concede with Gomes, I don't think so, Tchatchoua is terrible defendisely, no better that Rodrigo imo and you do get the chance of at least some attacking from him.

Has it? It hasn't when we've tried it before, granted not with the exact same line up. It's been launch it watch it come back again.

Tolu absolutely stunk the place out last weekend but he’s the only player capable of holding the ball up in, what’s going to be, a physical game - so it’s stupidity from Championship Rob to leave him out.

I’m not saying we’ve done it before, but that’s how we need to try an play. Are we good enough to execute and not just end up hoofing it I don’t know. I’d have felt confident with Krejci playing as the back 3 are all capable with the ball with him in it as are the two Brazilians.

If Punts is correct then it's fair enough, but if not the only acceptable answer is the racism affected him and felt he needed protecting.

You'd imagine Tolu probably isn't in the best place mentally after the missed penalty and then the disgraceful abuse levelled at him, so seems a fairly sensible decision.

Hopefully if the game is close he can make an appearance and have a positive effect.

It’s 5-4-1 with zero chance whatsoever of holding the ball up. 100% I’ll be watching us hoof to someone who just can’t do anything with it.

I’m not trying to be correct here, I think it’s obvious you can’t hoof up to Adam Armstrong. But no one goes out with that intention, that is just what happens if the opposition press well and you aren’t good enough on the ball to get out of it.

But our issue this season hasn’t necessarily been the defence, it been we can’t score and we were playing jokers like Larsen and Hwang up top who can’t keep the ball. So when we do make a mistake or just concede a good goal we lose. Having the ball bouncing off Tolu isn’t really a tactic. Even less so that he isn’t going to score either.

First time I'm not even bothering to try and watch, we're having a family board game night instead. Guarantee it will be a lot more fun than watching Wolves be shit again.

Yes as he’s a small child and not remotely a defender. Jackson “wins duels”, that’s about it, but it’s more than Rodrigo would do
