UEFA Nations League & Euro 2020 Qualification

The front three on the break are fantastic.

We don't need to fuck about at the back or try to look pretty elsewhere on the pitch given the fire power that we possess.

Precisely. Get it to them and let them unleash carnage.

There's a case to be made that our front three are right up there with the best on the planet. A shame we don't have that quality all over the pitch.

Us and Portugal are the best at the moment up top.

They've been very, very open (they can afford to be with how the group is)

They are a miles better team than Bulgaria as you well know. If you fancy taking on my bet that they'll finish 2nd, be my guest.
I think theyre crap, as are bulgaria and montenegro, czech are pretty bad currently too but they will finish second.

He was appalling in the Nations League, that kind of stuff sticks.

I agree he had a mare but so did Maguire to be fair. Made the same mistake several times just didn't get punished for it.

Maguire and Gomez would be my first choice currently. Stones has to play his way back into it, if he can stay fit and earn Pep's trust again.

Awesome comms Clive...

Mention the ex Premier League player and discover he has been subbed off.

That's a lovely finish after another gift this time from Rice. 5 2

As beautifully demonstrated there by Rice and Henderson

Problem for us is we get through the qualifying games easily then come up against the better teams at a level we haven't had to play at to get there.

2nd for Kosovo - slack passing in defensive midfield started that off

Was going to say that Rice seems like a better version of Dier before that goal. There’s some non existent closing down going on in the wide areas from us

But then we beat Colombia and Sweden last time, and had we not been so deficient in working out that Ashley fucking Young was a stupidly weak link, we'd probably have made the World Cup final.

T-Rex arms didn't exactly cover himself in glory either. Managed to make himself a really tiny barrier.

OOOO - penalty.

Dier is better than Rice by quite some distance IMO/IMV.
