UEFA Nations League & Euro 2020 Qualification

If he genuinely were one the best forward in Europe Spurs would have sold him.

Go on then, six better centre forwards.

I would caveat this with the fact YW said forward, not centre forward, but I would say:

Aguero
Mbappe
Suarez
Lewandowski
Cavani
Griezmann

are all more better centre forwards imo.

If he were that good, given spurs history and current lack of money, Real would've bought him.

But as I've said before i prefer forwards to do more than just score goals.

Suarez is done at the very top. . Griezmann couldn't play that role, as good as he is. Mbappe is a huge talent but hasn't delivered big numbers as of yet.

Lewandowski is past his best as well. Great player but definitely past the zenith.

Cavani better than Kane? Hmmmm, not sure

Aguero definitely for me is. I would add Icardi to the argument maybe.

Cavani is nearly 32 as well, played no football in England, Spain or Germany which are the three best leagues.

Hasn't Kane outscored Aguero in each of the last three seasons? In a worse team.

If i were to have the pick of premier League strikers for wolves I'd have firmino, imo it's not just about scoring goals.

Kane may have outscored all strikers everywhere for here to God himself, spurs have still won fuck all though.

He's better than at least three of those.

I'm not sure what more he could do - he's a stunning goalscorer and a brilliant footballer. And also clearly a real leader. In the past two nations games he has set up 3 and scored 1 (the winner to send us to the final). I'm not sure how anyone can complain about that.

He’s scored over 100 PL goals in the last 4 seasons but yeah he’s not that good [emoji23]. I actually think his hold up and link play is pretty good too.

I would love to be in the position to have Harry Kane at Wolves and slag him off for being shit/overrated/lazy Would mean we are Top 4 and in the Champions League. Bring it on.

Beats trying to justify the signing of Leon Clarke or Grant Holt

Tredman Thinks Kane is overated.
Tredman thinks Root is overated

To be fair that was kinda my point at the very start...

Don’t agree with tredman on Kane, as out and out goal scorers don’t see many better than him.

And Liverpool have won what precisely?

Again that was also my point, personally i prefer my forwards to do more than just be out and out goalscorers.

Opinions are like arseholes etc.

He's assisted three goals in the last two games for England as Louie said...we use him as more of a linkman (as well as handing him a big burden scoring wise) and he's doing a good job.

Spurs just want him to score goals, they have enough creators in their team with Son/Lamela/Eriksen/Moura. So he plays a different role and scores ridiculous amounts every year - but still isn't just a tap in merchant or even as one dimensional as Michael Owen was.

Judging players by the performance of their team is silly really, Steven Gerrard never won the Premier League, Steve Bull never reached the Premier League with Wolves, Ryan Giggs never got to the World Cup or European Championships. We aren't going to say that respectively Mark Atkins, Andy Keogh and Dave Edwards are better than all those three.

Personally I think Kane is world class. On and off the field.

He's scored 20 in 35 games for England.

He has every chance of getting to 50 goals in my view
