Tigers v Wolves - Matchday Thread

Lucked out with the penalty appeal. Down the other end Siggy again offers fuck all after a decent cross.

The ball was put behind him. Not much he could there, he was looking for the ball across the 6 yard area rather than back across the penalty spot

Playing well. Rough edges but shame we haven't got a striker.

Someone had already made that run. Any striker With an ounce of intelligence peels off for the cut back into the empty space rather than the congested far post.

I think you're being a bit harsh their punts. Henry should've given him a shout really as Siggy did take 2 defenders away.

An awful half of football really. Hull have been much poorer than I was expecting.

Siggy may as well not be on the pitch. Doherty inexplicably defending well once again though, I'm worried he'll win POTS at this rate!

Given we don't have a striker then that was more enjoyable so far than I expected

Iorfa showing rustiness playing that position & Deslandes is understandably nervous (& is up against an experienced player)

Wouldn't sign Helan permanently, but he's done well tonight - better than Henry whose ball control has been poor

Seen worse this season tbh. Need some presence up front, Siggy has done a few things ok but can't lead a line on his own.

Goal aside, Dave Edwards has been fairly poor.

Delandes has looked solid and Mat Doherty making several important interceptions and challenges.

Stood next to an absolute mental, so that's fun...!

Definite red for Saville and a stonewall pen against Deslandes.

Ikeme is rancid. Our back 4 is an absolute bomb scare. Only player to come out of that with any credit was Helan and he dribbled straight out of play twice.

Agree with that (believe it or not! :icon_lol:). Helan our best player, followed by Doherty.

I know siggy hasn't offered a lot but Pele would struggle up top for us. Most 'service' our strikers get it neck height.

IMO, Edwards hasn't been poor at all. Price has, has barely been in the game.

At full pace, in front of where I'm stood, Deslandes made a great tackle and the ref was spot on......not got the benefit of sky TV or slow motion replay

They've both been pretty anonymous in the middle. Edwards took his chance, Price wasted his.

Saville has been our best mid (still not great) but shouldn't be on the pitch after that shocking tackle on Odubajo.

Hit the players foot. He had to make the challenge but was a second late

Just got in, so listened to first half on WM, the most prominent phrase was "heavy touch"

Saville the enforcer

How the fuck hasn't he got a card tonight
