I'm going to have to get a copy when the new one comes out. Been a long time since I had a game.

I miss having a "mess" around game when bored as well. Bankrupting Albion and putting the worlds best in Stafford Rangers squad is highly pleasing for a while.

When I get my iPhone (early December) I'm tempted to get the FM app as I hear it's pretty decent. Does anyone here have it?

I have CM app but I hardly use it. Nothing gets close to playing it on your PC

It's mainly for something to do on the commute to Brum every day.

You'll be too busy reading the news/facebook/Sky Sports and playing on Angry Birds to do that

Ha - good point!!

I can see myself missing Moor St. Not good as that means going past St Andrews.

I hate FM10. Just couldn't get into it so still playing my FM09 game with Shrewsbury, although must be months since I loaded it up. I have my copy of FM10 available should anyone wish to purchase it!

Off out to get F1 2010, will report back sometime later on today.

On it at the mo.

I suggest that unless Estoril is an unlockable track and you're going down the straight as we speak, that you keep your eye on the road...

Picked F1 2010 from Asda on the way to work this morning, been burning a hole in my bag ever since. Working untill 5

i got the new halo this week and i have to say its brilliant:) i loved the halo games anyway and as its pretty much more of the same that is fine by me! I was getting a bit sick of modern warfare type games so its come at the right time. Not even tried multiplayer yet but the single and coop campaign is suitably over dramatic!

There's a few annoying niggles, but all in all it's a very good first attempt from Codemasters.

The "warnings and punishments can be a bit odd"

During one qualifying lap, Petrov took me off the track at a bend and I got a 5 place penalty!! then in another qualifying lap, I lost control, took a short cut and slammed full speed into the side of Alonso and sent him smashing into a wall.........didn't even get a warning for that.
Another problem is the weather, during Q1 it was hammering down in Monaco......in Q2 it was blue skies and not a drop of water on the track.

Overall the game is very good, especially as you have to put the work in to get your car right. I am starting with Lotus and if it wasn't for a nightmare pit stop (they wouldn't let me out) I would have a got a Top 5 finish in one race. Been a while since I screamed and shouted abuse at my TV

I decided to give myself only one run in Q1 in Australia, on course to comfortably make it through to Q2 until Schumi blocks me at turn 7, leaving me at the back of the grid and then he goes on to take pole! Really Codies? Have you seen the Mercedes this season?

I've done about 15 single races as Alonso, in every single race my default grid positon has been miles behind Massa, with Merc's regularly starting on pole. See point above.

The AI cars brake stupidly early and get ridiculously good traction out of the corners, so you can follow very closely, get right under the AI's rear wing, only for him to easily pull away on the straights, regardless of what car they are in. I've yet to get a slip stream on any car, even if I'm a Ferrari/McLaren/Red Bull starting at the back of the grid.

The race engineer with the awful Geordie accent does my head in too, " Get in his slipstream and pass him". You don't say Rob, I'm just going to sit behind him all bloody race.

The graphics are fantastic, the car control is very good too, you can really chuck the cars about Hamilton style and gain an extra couple of tenths or you can be rewarded by driving smoothly and consistently ala Button.

It's not perfect but it's more than good enough.

Any ideas as to who might have FIFA 11 at a reduced price on Friday? I'm planning to nip into a few shops on the way to work, Asda and Tesco being the most accesible. Also, do they sell out pretty quickly on the day? I think this will be the only time I will have ever left earlier than needs be for work...

I'll post the latest on Thursday night, when the supermarkets normally unveil their prices.

HotUKDeals always pick up on the best prices, but they never let their competitors know their prices until the very last moment.
