Newcastle are leaving themselves short of time to deal with that money. So another forward in for Fulham. And their defence is still balls.

Rumours of Fulham in for Tierney from Celtic.

That's one we should be absolutely all over

Tierney is good, no doubt about that, but he won't get bought for anything like market value. Which is fair enough, really, but we should be smarter than to play into that sort of thing, no matter how minted we are.

Burnley want Peter Couch for £500k.

Where the hell does all their TV money go?

I've seen steam boats turn quicker than he did against us last week, genuinely looked like he belonged in a legends match.

Everton set to sign Lucas Digne from Barcelona.

Lyon have made an approach for Manchester United defender Victor Lindelöf, but José Mourinho, for the moment, is saying no, according to tomorrow's L'Équipe.

Lyon were after Mina as well so maybe they've moved on from him now.

I think that's unfair. Burnley's issue is that they are looking for value rather than appreciating that sometimes you have to hold your nose. They wanted Mawson and Clucas from Swansea, but wouldn't pay the £40m. They are getting to the stage now where they either need to get in any old shit or not make the Europa League group stages, otherwise they could really struggle in the League

Burnley is an extremely well run club. To compare the owners to the Oystons is scandalous.

Probably the same place as the Oystons of Blackpool

What utter nonsense, where do you come up with this stuff?

Burnley are massively investing into their infrastructure. Training ground has had a lot of work to get it anywhere near Premier League level

I thought it was tongue in cheek.
