They were those brown eggs with the really orangy yolks, Burford Brown's I think they are. Didn't need bacon, they were tasty enough on their own.

Well, if you can sprinkle salt and pepper on it and maybe some good quality tomato sauce, then you should be able to sprinkle some crispy thin lardons on it too!

I don't put tomato sauce or salt on eggs. A sprinkle of pepper most definitely. If I wanted a bacon and egg sandwich, I would make myself one.
