Being a dad when your offspring has a birthday party to celebrate turning 6, and receives these as presents:

We had a massive box of Lego when we were kids, got given away when we got too old for it, wish we still had it, it'd cost a fortune to replace now !
 
Been yonks since I did this as im not normally in the habit of doing so but, having a lie in on a Sunday morning. Feels nice :)

Still got loads up in the loft from when my boys were younger - still waiting for the grandkids to come along so I can get it out again.
 
Having time on a Sunday to go for a stroll with Paddy. It was a really nice day for it too.

A (Sunday) walk is very underrated. Mrs Wombat and I often go for a short stroll around the nearby village and when the weather is better - or more specifically the ground underfoot - we often go cross country to the pub near the harbour.
