The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

I genuinely dislike him (Fabio).

Don't know what it is? Maybe it's his total lack of self awareness? His hair? Whatever it is I can't stand him and just wish he'd fuck off so this conversation can be finally put to bed... unlikely though!
 
The Bundesliga links are weird, IMO. I haven’t checked lately, but that league is typically the “fastest” of the Big 5, and I can’t really see Fabio being quick enough to fit those more vertical patterns (assuming they’re still the norm there, that is). Of course, not all forwards who do well there are pace merchants, so always the chance he blossoms there, however small.

I dunno, more the fools them if they pay money to us. I won’t stop them.

I haven't given it tonnes of thought but I think it's because he's a shit haired, whiny little cunt who's inflated ego continuously writes cheques that his talent can't cash, because he's shit. And a cunt. As well as being the signing that triggered our decline, it was also one of the most crooked transfers in modern football with bungs getting chucked left right and centre, all for a player with 11 minutes of senior football behind him. You couldn't even find much of his youth career online so those numbers are probably as much bullshit as Pele's.

Enjoyed re-reading that thread. I took a hell of a lot of shit for basically being one of the first to cotton on that Shi was an enormous shitcunt and didn’t really have a clue what he was doing. Of course as soon as we splashed the cash on Fabio it was all “pantwetter this, pantwetter that”.
