I’m not blaming him leaving. All good players leave to go to better clubs - even Liverpool lose their best players to better clubs so it’s pretty simple to understand.

I just have absolutely no fucking idea why he’s going to United. They’re fucked.

And if it’s about money, I think their days of paying stupid money is over. I’m fairly sure he’d get similar elsewhere at a club that’s a better option for him in terms of success.

That is, unless no one else wants him.

Chasing titles, if you’re isolating it to the premier league, then fair enough. But cups, general silverware.

We all knew it would happen, though. The release clause had already been set, too.

At that point, what difference does it make? Besides he said “I want to take the next step”, not “I want to be somewhere else”. That it registered with people at all is so odd to me.

The clause had been set because he bullied the club into doing it in January, a contract that was given after he showed them what a none trying version of him looked like at Chelsea and understandably they panicked. There was absolutely no reason for the club to do so otherwise, it cost them money in the short and medium term

What other clubs are coming in for him, and paying him, say 175k a week at least?

No, they’re not in Europe next year, but given a 5 year contract I’d bet they will be in that time.

They could feasibly win a cup in the next couple of years, greater chance than us, anyway.

I just don’t think there’s a huge market for him
In the prem, especially the 3 teams who you’d imagine will contest the league over the coming years, as in Liverpool, Arsenal, city.

He not is good player, Las Palmas have good players but in the second half of the season they lost intensity.

The best player of Las Palmas are Cillessen (but too old), Mika Marmol, Bajecetic (injured), Essugo (Sporting Portugal), and Moleiro.

The seasson of Fabio Silva was normal, but, he is young player and because that many teams watch he. But i think Puado(Espanyol) are better he, and more polivalent player.

Espanyol have great players to sign: Joan Garcia (great spanish GK, but too expensive 27M, many teams interesed on he Arsenal, Aston Villa, Barcelona y Bournemouth), El Hilali (i think is the best option to cover Semedo position), and Puado (12 goals and 4 assist) and he play on all positions of forward (left, right, center). I think he is a good deal.
