Does anyone think Chiquinho or Gonzalez will be ready starting XI players?

Feels like they're already setting up next season as one of transition and there's already squad holes that need addressing.

They won't have the impact Neto has, and we won't be buying anyone who comes in straight away to have the same impact as Neto.
 
Chiquinho maybe, he has the directness of Neto, although I've not seen him post injury and the Stoke experience is a bit of a red flag if you believe the attitude strories, it wouldn't be my plan a. Gonzalez I'd expect to be on loan in Spain although the Olympics complicates things

Chiquinho almost certainly not. He's had an okay few weeks but has been pretty anonymous in Portugal. I'd expect him to be standing out every week in that league at his age if he was going to make it at Premier League level.

I don't think anyone really knows about Enso, might take him a while.

He's just won player of the month hasn't he? So that must be more than "okay" and it would be him standing out.

That's not saying he is going to replace Neto though obviously.

We should be making Callum O'Hare a very decent offer for starters, knowing we'll likely be losing Neto and have the funds to attract him.

It's a shame the likes of Chiquinho and Enzo aren't being integrated more into the first team as a succession plan as Bellegarde looks poor trying to play wide.

O'Hare isn't PL level or especially close imo.
No point integrating players who aren't up to it. If Gonzalez was he'd have made benches at least when we are making the numbers up, as it is he's been ineffective for the U23s. He needs to go out on loan and play. @Lycan as a man of Cov what is your view of O'Hare?

Young Player of the Month. Mainly based around that ridiculous overhead kick he scored to be honest but he has been a lot better recently.

Before this month he just looked like a very run of the mill Portuguese player. Gustavo Sá looks like a much better player than him in the same squad, he's 19 and looks like Famalicão's best player every time he plays. That's the kind of impact I'd expect Chiquinho to make if he was going to have any kind of impact at Premier League level.

Rodrigo Gomes

Quality player. Played as a Flforward/attacking mid for Braga last season, this season he's been playing as a VERY attacking right wing back for Estoril on loan.

We were also linked with Jota Silva who has been brilliant this season. Probably the best player outside the Big 3.
 
Ive said it before but I'd be sniffing around philogene-Bidace from Hull. Appreciate we'd need a fair wind though given villas buy back clause
 
It's just Philogene. Not Philogene-Bidace.

I don't think he's PL quality.

GON has said we don't want to sell our star players when asked about Neto.

The reality is he would go to a Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs they are a big draw...

The only way he would stay is if Fosun come out and said we are pushing for top 4
 
They can say that all they like. I would like a hot date with Kate Winslet and it’s about as likely.
