PHEW!!!

Lost 2-1 on the night after extra time, 3-1 down in the penalty shootout and won 4-3!

Raith into the Promotion Play Off Final

Victory for Victory in Wellington. Mariners take 2-1 lead into SF 2nd leg vs Sydney.

Union need a win and hope either Mainz or Bochum lose to scrape out of that Playoff place. Mainz cannot draw either as there goal difference is miles better.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Charlotte went to Chicago and played out a dire 0-1 win, off this free kick from Captain Tea Gang himself:

We're pretty crap to watch at the moment, but defensively we're streets ahead of where we were last season, so we've been able to grind out results against sides that we really should be beating (Chicago have been a mess of a club for over a decade now, epitomized by bringing in Xherdan Shaqiri as the most expensive player in MLS pre-Messi; he's done absolutely fuck all in MLS).

That defensive solidity will be put to the test this evening when we welcome LA Galaxy and one-time Wolves link Riqui Puig.

Rare that the 2.Bundesliga team wins the playoff but I think Düsseldorf may win that one.

Useless Phil Neville continues to prove that even in MLS he’s way out of his depth as Portland lose again.

Ex-Wolves ‘Korean Mbappe’ Jeong Sang-bin with the winner.

Jeong has looked pretty useful this season; fair play to him.

Said it a couple of weeks ago but that Portland side is way, way too talented to be so hapless.

Meanwhile in Crown Town, Charlotte held LA Galaxy scoreless and ended up with a 0-0 draw. Another match that was, shall we say, low on the entertainment scale. But keeping a clean sheet against LA (even if they were missing Joseph "Bad Boy" Pantsil) is something we'd never have managed last season.

Side note: wow am I glad Wolves didn't sign Riqui Puig. Sublime footballer but what a little bitch he is.

Double side note: Lycan's homie Tyger Smalls might be the best footballer in Charlotte. Missed a howler (that he created for himself, to be fair), but the ball sticks to him like glue. The hype is high.

St Pauli 1-0 down at half time come back to win 2-1 and clinch the 2.Bundesliga title

God please no

St. Louis were in talks with him this week so hopefully he goes there instead. Great player in his day but too old and not what we need.

Oh god, Tom Bogert is running the story. There's something in it, then.

Hard for me to see it working, honestly.
