Deserved win - relieved as that Wales comeback was on, glad they left it late. the eye incident did look worthy of a card to me.

It was worthy of a card, it's really clutching at straws to say it was only across the face !!

Never saw the eye incident as I was cooking, so I cannot comment.

Wales were awful for 60 minutes and brilliant for 20. You cannot do that. Could have pinched it at the death, and that would have been utterly and completely undeserved.

So, you're telling us in that last 10 minutes you were out the room cooking :)

Alright Arsene.

Gareth Thomas just made a very valid comment ) wales only started to play the ball when they had to at the end. They can play running rugby, hopefully they will realise they have to now.

Itoje was immense, for only his second start hope he can push on from here and be a real superstar.

With regards to the disgraceful eye gouge attempt, will the fact that it was 'dealt' with in game prevent any further sanctions?

No, Joubert said that on the available evidence at the time he could only give a penalty but warned Francis that when they could have a further look there might be more punishment to come.

Can't believe the score line ended up being so close, had Francis been sin binned or red carded I don't think it would have been so tight in the end.
Game was decided in the first half and England could easily have been 23-0 up has Coles try been given.
It'll take a pretty huge point swing to deny England now and looking at France so far you'd have to make England favourites for the grand slam.

England should definitely get the grand slam now. I can't see France even getting close.

Looked reckless rather than deliberate - suspect that the penalty given will be deemed to be sufficient

This is exactly what Ashton was banned for, so don't see why Francis should escape.

England looked well in control in first half (didnt see 2nd half) didnt allow Wales to play, Ijote is quiet a talent, shows what a competent coach can do with more or less the same personnel Lancaster had.

Will beat France easily they are a poor team, even the old cliche about "you never know which France will turn up" is out of date, they haven't done that since the 2011 WC.

Nice win for Ireland and some nice trys, even if Italy were poor (even Parisse was crap), least we dont have to worry about the wooden spoon next week..

I assume the title is decided by points difference and not head to head?

If France don't beat Scotland, then tomorrow England will be 6 Nations Champions.

I don't know why Eddie Jones split the game 60/20 when we increased our lead in 66th minute and then the 68th minute with penalties. More like 70/10.

Wales got on top after this and forced the yellow card by their pressure in attack, in the 71st minute, and scored their late tries in the 75th and the 77th minutes.

Welsh fans are saying the North-in-touch decision was poor, which it may have been, but I will also say that the foul play-by-Francis decision was also poor. If it was a penalty for foul play, then it must have been a yellow card.

Would it have made a difference? Probably. But Eddie Jones needs to see that the amount of changes made in the midfield over a short period of time was a poor decision. Launchbury on at 78 mins.? FFS

I still haven't seen the Francis decision.

However, North was NEVER in touch when he let the ball go. Saying that, the better team on the day won.
