Gutted, but as Johnny says, 97 a life well lived, legend in his field, well loved by everyone, that’s a good legacy to have had.
Was a brummie by birth, and worked at Dunlop in the marketing department, also responsible for the “ a Mars a day, helps you work, rest and play” his autobiography is worth a read

He always reckoned the Mars one wasn't his but the Opal Fruits was...'made to make your mouth water'......yeah his autobiography is ace....might re read it
