Can I just say once again what a fantastic job Michael O'Neill has done at NI. I would love him at Wolves. Top class.

Yeah, agreed on both counts. They have no right to be making tournaments really, you wouldn't want half those players at Wolves even allowing for how crap we are at the moment. I'd argue they were a bit too cautious against Poland and as Slink says it was odd how Grigg didn't get a kick at all but generally they performed well above expectations.
 
Modric playing against his Real Madrid team mates Ronaldo and NANI!!, how many things does Clive get wrong.
 
Bloody delighted with that result - I was happy just getting to the tournament, but to win the group, then get to the quarter finals is amazing.

NI were the better side on the night, but it's all about winning.
 
This game is about as miserable as being locked in a toilet cubical with someone suffering with norovirus.
 
Modric appears to be playing in the Croatian penalty area half the time - not sure that that is the best use of him really.
 
Terrible match. Typical Portugal knockout round stuff.
 
Loads of very talented players on display but they're all doing bugger all

He isn't, he's had one good spell when he scored 9 goals in as many games i think it was but he's not anywhere near Championship standard and definitely not good enough for international football.

All over the place again tonight, roaring "MANDZUKIC" when Vida headed wide and then thinks a penalty's been given on Nani when it's quite clear he didn't blow the whistle at all.
 
Apparantely the Croatia v Portugal has gone up a gear according to Glenda.

Must be a very close ratio gearbox then as I can't see it!
 
According to BBC - no shots on target

Can believe that as not heard the keepers mentioned at any point
 
10 off target shots in 80 minutes between them. 0 on target. This is bad.
 
Really appalling game of football even worse than some of our home games last season, Rakitic free kick just a microcosm of this game so far.

Not as bad as Bela Rethy, who also called the penalty, then confirmed it was a definite penalty even though the ref had given a goal kick.
