The NFL Thread

I managed to send you an invite last night Tony.

You thought half and half scarves were bad, just look at the state of this NFL fan.

The Jay Train won't be coming to London...gutted. Wouldn't be surprised to see Bell come though.

Flacco massively let me down this week but a first place week is a good week slowly closing the gap on Tony after my missed week

I'm in. If I'm not top on Friday morning I'm not playing again

If you've picked Eli Manning then I'll have no sympathy for you at all.

In and you should be above me come Friday morning because I've gone all Sunday/Monday ;)

Bollocks. Forgot team. Wasn’t going to pick anyone from this game either.

You dope Punts.

Barkley was the one to have from last night. Ran all over the Eagles with 229 scrimmage yards, 9 receptions and a TD.

I swapped him out for Clement to put Beckham in, because the Eagles secondary is woeful, didn't factor in Manning is even worse, barely threw the ball deep.

I was also tempted to put Clement in given Ajayi is done. Especially as the Giants are terrible at stopping RBs.

Barkley looks an outstanding talent even with a shoddy o-line.

Smallwood seemed to take most of the reps outside of the red zone and Clement within it until garbage time. Last year there were two wrecking ball running backs in Blount and Ajayi and now there aren't any. There has to be a trade of some sort coming up. I still think it'll Bell for the rest of the season, but won't be able to afford to keep him beyond that as Wentz will need paying and there already is little cap wiggle room.

Yeah that was the reason I didn't put Clement in. I wasn't sure if him and Smallwood would share, which they did.

Same with the Seahawks now. Flip a coin between Carson/Davis. Though Davis seems like the goal-line back.

Carson got 116yds last week with Davis 68 and a TD so either or but those are good numbers against the Rams. I guess we all missed out on Barkley this week. 130yds rushing with a TD and 99 receiving yards. The man's a beast.

He was a one man offense and looked the only one really trying, Aikman called the defense particularly out for going through the motions, they look like a 3-13 team again. NFC East looks like 9-7 will win it.

Gurley is ridiculous. Over 200 yards rushing already.
