The NFL Thread

Causal 4 TD throws for Andy Dalton too against them. Missed out there

I'd agree with that. Brady's biggest asset is Bill Belichik and his ability to build teams and playbooks. Without him Brady is a good but not great player. Both Manning's, Brees, Rivers, Favre and Rodgers are better QB's yet it will be Tom that will be lauded as GOAT.

Not true.

It's easy to see why some argue things like this when you look at how QB's play.

The best 2 QB's in the NFL at the moment are Brady and Rodgers and apart from possibly Brees there is then a drop off to the next group of QB's.

As I have grouped him with Rodgers I will use him as a comparison, if you watch the 2 play in terms of the tangibles you can see, athletic ability, arm strength, ad lobbing on plays where they would otherwise break down Rodgers wins hands down, and he is definitely more naturally gifted where these things are concerned. Brady on the other hand has superb decision making ability, good leadership skills and more importantly he is unbelievably good at pre-snap reads, meaning where you see plays breaking down and then a Rodgers or a Favre will improvise out of a bad situation - Brady will probably not be in that situation to begin with as he can read a defence and audible out of it before the snap.

Whether people like Brady or not, he is one of the best QB's of all time and it's not just because of the system in New England, that's only part of the story.

I'm in for this week. Thursday night game included people

I wonder how many will be picking Mahomes this week, at home to the 49ers?

I had him last week, then did that Saturday night smart move which never pays off

I’m going with Flacco just feel he’ll have a good game against the Broncos

A school superintendent in Texas posted online that "when it comes to precision decision making, you can't count on a black quarterback", in reference to Deshaun Watson's performance this weekend.

Post-racial country, though.

How does he explain Peterman?

Russel Wilson is pretty good too. He just has a crap offensive team around him.

The Browns have actually won a game!

Mayfield looks good too. This years class of QB's looks very promising.

Wow, Bills screwing up a lot of people's prediction leagues! And Packers sucking, which is a shocker.

Skins have blown them away to be fair. Positive for Washington rather than a negative for Green Bay.

Green Bay haven't had a defense worth much for a few years. That the Washington offense seems to have lost so little in Cousins' absence is most impressive.

Buffalo are the real shock today (so far).

Can we agree on no more tuesday night games for draft kings?

Especially as there aren't any Tuesday night games. There is an argument to stop Thursday night games if people are struggling to get their teams in, I'd prefer not to though if possible.
