The Music Thread Strikes Back

Only Kate Bush tickets I could get despite being very well organised were VIP. Think they were £400 each. Nice meal and loads of merch for freebies but ouch

Another gig booked for 2023. Booked Space for there 25th Anniversary Spiders tour at the Acadamy3. Love the small venues.

Just bagged a ticket for Blur for a £110 (I needed to go, never been to a stadium gig and its Blur) Bonus on top is Ive booked the Premier Inn next door for just £60. Buzzing now.
Blur have announced a gig at Malahide castle in late June, 10 mins drive from my house so I'll be trying to get tickets this Friday. I'm already seeing Depeche Mode there the week before. Shaping up to be a good summer for gigs

I notice no UK dates have been released for the World Tour yet but as they are doing a double headline slot at Download you would presume they would be touring the UK then?

Looks like only Download for now which sucks as the rest of Download bar Behemoth is shite

If I had the £££ the two night tour opener in Amsterdam would be proper tempting

I’ve become such an eccentric loon that I probably spin Load/ReLoad more than any other Metallica album these days…

bet download have an exclusivity clause for their only uk dates this year, or some similar restrictions.
if that is the case, expect the uk tour to be 2024.

Load does have some decent tracks to be fair. Reload falls apart after track 2 however…

Fixxxer is maybe my favorite Metallica track, come to think of it.

Must admit Load appeals to me more, handful of good songs on there, Reload is quite weak for me.
