Open the following link. You will see the entire earth. There are numerous green spots around the earth. These green dots are local radio stations. Touch the green dot and play the local radio station. It is pretty impressive. You can listen to any radio station in the world...I'm currently listening to Triple J from Sydney!

I download a Triple J podcast most weeks. Science with Dr Karl. It's basically a phone in Q&A show about any topic. He's really great to listen to and an extremely well know personality in Australia.

They also sometimes have guests on with him, and whenever he has Professor Claire Collins (dietics) on he does an entire show about diet and food which is fantastic. What she doesn't know about the latest studies on diets around the world isn't worth knowing.
 
Dr Karl was on Radio Five on their Up All Night show for years and was very good. Might still be doing it for all I know but I stopped listening to it when they started sidelining the superb Rhod Sharp in favour of the imbecile Dotun Adebayo.

I linked Radio Garden on here about 4-5 years ago :)
 
Yeah I didn't like Dotun either, he was a bit of a wet lettuce. Rhod was great, although he often let callers waffle on too long.

The Triple J show was/is much better. They move callers on quickly. I guess at 4-5 in the morning the 5Live one didn't have the luxury of doing that whereas the Oz version is 11am in the morning. I once had an email question read out on 5Live version though :)
 
Dotun totally ruined the World Football Phone-In. Stupid parlour games, awful regular callers who got let on every week and bloody singing at 3am. Stop it! I want to listen to Tim Vickery talk about some Colombian wonderkid so I can pass it off as my own knowledge later on.
 
radiohead are releasing a live concert on their youtube every week, til this is all over.
 
Bought the new Funki Porcini album on Bandcamp.

Biggest waste of 15 quid ever. All ambient soundscapes and vocal samples. It's hugely boring. He really needs to change his name as he certainly ain't funky anymore
 
Any fans of Paul Weller and The Style Council that missed Paul and Alan White's appearance on Tim Burgess's #timstwitterlisteningparty they were that chuffed with last nights response they've volunteered to do a party for all of their 5 other albums now as well.
