I reckon mckenna would be better getting a season with Ipswich in the PL under his belt before moving to the next job. He'll be under zero pressure and will get the chance to learn a bit more about football at the highest level.

Going to Brighton is the right next step but probably a season too soon.

Or Ipswich could fail miserably and Brighton will have moved on by then and he gets no offers.

He’ll get offers, maybe not at the level if clubs he’s currently being linked with. Ipswich are a bigger club than Brighton and like every club below 8th in the Premier league they’re only a couple of bad decisions away from being relegated.
 
How many offers would Vincent Kompany get today?
