Steve Bruce is said to be considering his future at Hull City. Why? They have just won promotion back to the premier league.

Sick of the politics there. Owner seems to be on a mission to piss the fans off at every turn. Unless the RDM deal is as good as done, Villa still don't have a manager, I could see him going there.

I am not sure that Aston Villa fans would want another ex Birmingham City manager at Villa Park.

Would suspect that Villa fans would ultimately accept anyone if they gave them a few wins, even if they protested against an appointment initially

Apparently Hibs have given Rotherham permission to talk to Alan Stubbs.

I was expecting Stubbs to leave Hibernian, but is he the man to help Rotherham avoid another relegation battle?

To the surprise of no-one, Steve Evans has left Leeds.

Ordinarily I'd have sympathy for dealing with months of Cellino's nonsense and then being binned after doing a perfectly respectable job, but y'know.

Stubbs has apparently joined Rotherham. Says a lot about the financial pull of the Scottish game outside the top flight.

I could see him actually pitching up at Hibs which would be amusing.

But why have Leeds United sacked him? I am not sure what is expected of managers at Elland Road.

Cellino is emperor bellend of the bellend people. Expecting sanity there is probably like wishing for unicorns.

Sacking managers every few months is never going to achieve success. At some stage Cellino must actually give a manager the time to try to get Leeds back in the Premier League.

Garry Monk the new favourite for the Leeds job.

Steve Evans was interviewed on Talksport this morning and was very gracious and diplomatic, telling how Cellino's secretary phoned him and told him that his contract wasn't being renewed. Ray Wilkins was disgusted calling Cellino's actions 'disgraceful'. Wilkins had a good rant about the situation there and was spot on, telling Evans several times that he didn't expect him to say anything so he would say it for him.

I heard Evans on sky sports. Did not slag off Cellini or the club. Fair play to him and his stock has risen IMO. The appointment of monk would be a coup for Leeds. If he gets the job I see them as top 6.
