Since the day they got promotion the flopster has been wiggling himself into position as the guru of all things Bournemouth. He may well be managing them by Christmas, the bloody charlatan.

After the job Eddie Howe has done there, it would be disgraceful if they got rid of him to allow Redknapp to take over. Surely they would not be that silly?

We all know they shouldn't, but clubs lose the plot all the time. If they go ages without a win at the start of the season then anything is possible. All credit to Burnley's board for not sacking Dyche when they couldn't buy a win early on, many would have pulled the plug regardless of the brilliant work he'd done in getting them there in the first place.

You would sincerely hope that was not the case, but Harry has been far from subtle with the way he has used interviews with anyone he has on speed dial to remind them he started his coaching career at Bournemouth and loves the club. As Dan intimates above the Distin signing is a very strange thing - as un-Eddie Howe a signing as you could get. You have to ask why.

Eddie Howe sadly will now need a good start to protect his position from the circling floppychopped vulture.

Ditto Leicester with Pearson. Could've been sacked a number of times last season but they stuck by him.

has he spoken of Portsmouth recently, the club he is mostly associated with as a manager? Portsmouth and Bournemouth have effectively swapped places with eachother in the league

Isn't it owned by the fans now - wouldn't have thought they would touch him with a barge pole again (though they have stomached it twice before). Probably why he makes no comment on them (that & the fact that they are in Div 2 so beneath his undoubted talents.)

Phil Neville has joined Valencia as assistant manager.

Apparently one of Salford's co-owners bought Valencia recently.

Cathro has left as well so they're swapping British for British.

Derby County have appointed England Under 17 boss John Peacock to replace Paul Simpson as first team coach.

Guus Hiddink has quit the Netherlands job

Sean O'Driscoll as assistant manager at Liverpool? Eh!!

Hernan Crespo takes his first senior coaching job at Italian Serie B side Modena.

Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has today been cut to 1/10 from 5/1 to be the next Premier League boss to leave. If I was Chris Wood I would sit on my hands for a few days.
