The Live Match Discussion Thread: 2019/2020

For all SU possession, they didnt really create much even in the first half.
We will need to be physical across the midfield and hopefully our quality upfront will tell.

If they switch off against us with 20 mins to go they'll be in trouble :)

Brian Deane is a properly dull pundit!

Next game will be more difficult than the last 2 as SU will compete better than AV or Bournemouth.

We need to keep the front 3 the same as they will cause any team real problems.

We need to match up physically so if Bennett is fit maybe him back & Leander into midfield to provide a bit more bulk

Always hard to know. There will be some rotation but we don’t know which players need a rest. You’d think Traore, Raul and Moutinho but they always play and never get subbed.

Moutinho only uses Duracell batteries so can go for far longer than anyone else (no idea how he does it as my knees were buggered at his age - then again that was a fair few years ago, medical science has moved on & he is in a position to get the highest level of treatment)

Watching Villa Newcastle, wanting both to lose by some miracle :)

Newcastle have been absolutely pathetic so far. Your playing Villa not Barcelona ffs.

Bearing in mind I grew up in the early 70's with the great Brazilian sides, it still doesnt sway me away from thinking Wesley's a cock

Villa were only going to score from a set piece and Yedlin obliges giving them a set piece in a dangerous area.

Andy, you're giving them far too much credit !

How have Newcastle racked up 15 points so far?
