The Live Match Discussion Thread: 2019/2020

They do say that it's so much easier to do the chasing. You'd probably fancy Swansea to turn Brentford over in the playoffs now.

I’ve watched 30 mins of brentford all season and they’ve been dreadful. Consistently overcomplicating rather than just passing the ball or taking the easy option.

Stoke bee n proper spoilers last couple games. Stop Brentford charge, then batter Forest out of p layoffs.

I think Fulham will win the play offs, probably didn’t expect much tonight and probably have the best squad.

Cardiff Swansea final ?

Barnsley beat forest and Brentford to save themselves. Wow

Amazing effort by Brentford not to go up. And equally impressive by Forest to not get into the play offs!

Theh didn't on Saturday

Wasn't talking about Saturday, but Stoke weren't safe, either (assuming my math is right, which it may not be).

Obviously you'd still have expected Brentford to take more than they did from the two games.

Well, I guess that's congratulations to the Albion.

They did their absolute best to throw it away, and just about got away with it. That was nearly quite some choke.

That's some backhanded kudos if I've ever seen one. :icon_lol:

They earned promotion, let them celebrate.

My dislike for Albion has been rekindled! I much prefer it when we are in different divisions

Yes, but the choke was across 2 games. Win 8 on the spin, then lose 2.

Albion have some serious, serious work to do. As for Brentford just shocking levels of mental strength.
The humongous club and double European champions once have yet another season outside the top flight, even if they go up next season that’s 22 years without top flight football. I thought our 19 year hiatus between 84-2003 was bad enough.
Basically no Forest fan below 28 can realistically remember their club in the top flight.

Oh don't get me wrong, just enough is good enough - but it wasn't so many games ago that they were six points ahead of Leeds, and now they've finished 10 points behind.

There will be lots of nervous sisters and cousins in West Birmingham tonight...:fished:
