The Live Match Discussion Thread: 2019/2020

Catching Chelsea just isn’t happening when they beat Norwich mid week it puts them on 63 points meaning we’d have to win all our remaining games, it’s not impossible but very unlikely. Gut feeling is we’ll win 1 draw2 lose 1 same points as last season and probably a similar position.

They are still just about relevant if we win all four. We won't but if we did and they also lost to Liverpool we would over take them.
Well yes, but there's too many ifs in there to make it relevant as there is with Utd, Leicester

Sheff Utd last 3 are Leicester away, Everton home, Southampton away. I see them getting about 4 points there. 5-6 points will probably get us over the line.

yeah, not gonna happen..overtaking chelsea i mean

Concentration is getting back in the Europa league next season then see what happens in August.

Will be interesting to see what happens to Man C, personally expect them to be cleared

Or it’ll be a suspended ban with a heavy fine, basically coming 8th will see you empty handed.

Everton will be tough of course..we will see how we set up

Catching those above isn't happening now - would rather that SU had lost today to keep a margin as we are looking over our shoulder.

Still think that we have enough to get 6th (for Cyber's benefit that what I predicted), but its tight.

lets see if city wins then against Brighton...or is it going to be Burnley, Sheff U and Brighton with wins...crazy

Good man![emoji28] I went 8th in May 2019 so can’t change now. Hope to be one two or three places higher! Three points tomorrow will help lots.

Chris Wilder again proving he really should win MOTS, IMO. How easy would it have been for the Blades to fall apart after the way they began the restart? And yet they have completely recovered.

Don't think you'll get many arguments against this, certainly not me, he gets 100% effort and performance out of every player most games and his tactics are usually spot on for the players he has. Be interesting to see if he can maintain it next season....gunna be tough I think

The 3 centre backs are crucial to them both defensively and how they go forward. No surprise really that their poor form coincided with Robinson having to play.
