Yes he isn't convinced by him and thinks he dwells on the ball too much hence why he gets fouled so often.

He said he would have loved to have played against him and 'messed him up'. I have always said I'd love to see one of the old school players give Grealish something to really think about

I dont always agree with Souness but he's spot on.

I do think Grealish is a very talented player and a better manager than Smith could have a cracking player on their hands but he hinders Villa a lot with the way they use him.

Couldn't really blame them if they had, it's only Villa today...

Joking aside, it's already been discussed how they've been pretty functional since the start of the year. Nothing for them to play for now really either, so they're probably already looking to next season.

All this is correct. Grealish has the touch and ability to run with the ball which could get him into a top 6 club at least in rotation. He needs a manager to smash his ego and not indulge him like Smith does. The one man hero routine worked in the Championship it doesn't in the PL

I said to someone or other on here before the resumption that Liverpool wouldn't be that arsed after the resumption and the points record wasn't something Klopp would actively chase with another season around the corner. They may still get it, but it'll be incidental. I still think they'll win this
