Man City are class to watch though. I know Liverpool have deservedly won the league but Man City are still the better team for me.

Nah. Liverpool are the better side but they are on the beach today against a great side who have taken advantage.

I still think city are the better team all in all and I think City will win the league next season.

Given the gulf in points, that's a tough sell, IMO.

Van Dijk Robertson Gomez

Broken Laporte

Im not convinced. City are fabulous tonight but for me Liverpool are the best by a decent margin

I'd rather pay money to watch City than Liverpool.

If a team can win the league with 7 games to spare but not be the "best team", you may as well cancel everything as there's clearly no point in keeping score.

City are just more motivated in this game playing like they’re proving a point to everyone.

The stars have aligned for Liverpool this season. No long term injuries, late winners, winning by the odd goal, all other teams being poor. But obviously a solid defence which has given them the opportunity.

When City improve their defence they’ll win the league. And united are looking like they are going to be better too.

If Man City win the treble what then? Liverpool in the circumstances have been the best team in the league but with everything level and equal i still think City are the better team and are by far better to watch.

A purring City are better than a purring Liverpool. They are much more likely to get choked by a fur ball though. Liverpool get it done, their game at Molineux being exhibit a

Completely agree (apart from the United part). And don't get me started on the xG....

A phenomenal achievement by this Liverpool squad and coaching staff though of course, but I think when they have regressed to the mean slightly next season people will talk about the players losing motivation when it really won't be about that.

I'll add though, Liverpool are quite capable of coming back in this game and City are quite capable of throwing it away :icon_lol:

Not saying United are going win the league but they are going to finish third despite being shit for half of it. So they’ll definitely be closer

Best means different things though. Clearly in terms of results, Liverpool are best. But as a neutral I'd rather watch City.

Really? Roy Keane wanted to fight half their team a couple of games ago.

They looked good against Brighton but I don't see how they're guaranteed third, especially when you add us to the equation.

Well, there's that fundamental difference again. It's competition first, entertainment second in my book.

Liverpool have been the best team in the league by a huge margin, IMO. A 20 (well, probably 17 now) point margin.

If we're handing out trophies for something other than results, I'm not sure what we're doing here. It's not figure skating. We're not handing out points based on backheels, rabonas, and pretty, one-touch passing.

First game back after lockdown, they played McTominay and Fred in midfield, Maguire got walked past, DDG then threw it in, Pogba didn’t play.

I’ve seen enough of them to know they are going to have no problem seeing off the shit. They might struggle against us, City, Liverpool and Chelsea, but they haven’t got to play them.
