The Live Match Discussion Thread: 2019/2020

Apparently Bournemouth have been beyond shambolic at home to Newcastle as it now goes 0-3 to Newcastle.

Yeah I've been watching it, they've been absolutely terrible. Newcastle have been really bright though, some lovely football, high press, working really hard with and without the ball. Weird!

Villa are gonna stay up FFS. No way West Ham are going to get their shit together and Bournemouth have gone.

They have, in fact they've made Newcastle look like a decent football team.
Games I've seen involving the bottom teams have shown why they're where they are. None of them seem to have any fight or energy, goes to show what an impact the crowd have

Yep got a feeling Villa will survive by default.

Can't see Villa staying up with their fixtures, can definitely see West Ham picking up a couple of wins between now and the last game where i can't see Villa doing so.

Make that 0-4 now I’m not one for saying get rid of manager with no time left but seriously it couldn’t be going any worse for them.

With the way Bournemouth are capitulating, I wouldn't go near any of their players this summer. And I don't just mean from a Wolves' perspective.

West Ham finally not starting Mark Noble, so they should be improved tonight.

Fuck sake, Antonio.

Jarrod Bowen is not a Premier League level footballer.

Stupidity from the commentary here.

"Be brave, take risks, but don't be too willing to release the ball."

What?

He looked OK before the break. Seems a spell of Moyes coaching has fully installed the West Ham way into him

Chelsea pretty dominant but still lucky not to be behind, though Pulisic should have just scored.

In other news, not a fan of Chelsea's new kit.

As an American, seeing Pulisic in a Chelsea shirt still hasn't completely sunk in.

Sponsor maybe a little big but otherwise I think that's a beauty, simplicity at it's finest.

Be interested to see how Chelsea do next year, not seen a lot of Werner but at that price would expect a considerable upgrade on Abraham, Ziyech has looked good at Ajax as a replacement for William but the defence still needs work and the keeper is a joke.
