The Kids Thread

Bea's got me watching caravan review videos on YouTube. Two days in a row now....
How did you introduce her to caravan review videos???

I'm having my longest stint in charge of two kids today as my wife is having surgery in hospital. I've already left one of my son's shoes on the bus

She's going on a cravan holiday with her mum and she's not the kind of kid who likes surprises and the unknown. Anyway, she ended up doing a tour of our kitchen in the style of an American motor home salesman shortly after!

How long is your missus in hospital mate?

She was just in for day surgery, she got back this evening. She had an abscess drained and a cyst removed. Gross.

Good job she wasn't in any longer really or my kids may have left their entire wardrobe on buses.

As long as you didn't leave the kids on the bus and bring their wardrobe home then you are still ahead

Haha. Impressively I've never managed to leave them anywhere. There's still plenty of time though.

So my lad returns from his week long Year 7 'activity' break full of questions about prostitution, 69ing and paedophilia. As the boy himself said, 'I went away knowing nothing, now I know too much.' The joys of 12 year old boys sharing a room!

Teaching Bea the Ghostbusters theme tune but she keeps pronouncing it "Ghostbastard". It's too funny to correct her!

£22 for an hour? Fuck that for a game of soldiers. Money grabbing wankers - that's disgraceful!!

Anyway it won't be as good as the Severn Valley Railway.

So that's the best part of £90 for a family of 4 for an hour. They can fuck right off.

For anyone whose kids are starting to learn to read I can recommend 'Reading Eggs'. Belle loves using it and we have seen a massive improvement since she started. There is a fee for subscribing (not sure if it's monthly or annually) but they do a free trial too.

We made another one!
Baby girl, Thea, was born about 24 hours ago and is a little beauty.
