The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

I'm a proficient cook (have done it professionally a bit), but still not that confident with fish. Partly because it's a bit of an effort getting decent stuff, not from the supermarket, but I'd love to knock up something like that (I know it's simple really...).

You'll have to expand on the professionally part Billy as struggling with the fillet-o-fish at McDonalds doesn't count.

Pub stuff, so I'm okay with beer battered cod. And I'm currently having tuna teriyaki noodles for lunch, so it's not like I can't cook any fish, just not stuff like leeds has posted above.

I'm great at de-boning tinned salmon/pilchards.

Self-isolation day #4

He's removed the ketchup, Tredman, you're in his head now!

FFS, it's hard enough being stuck in a hotel room self-isolating with very minimal human contact awaiting a 2nd Covid test. To top that
a) firstly somebody nitpicking over the condiments that room service add to the tray and
b) another poster who thinks it's fun to jump on the bandwagon.

Pablo, do me a favour, join tredman and fuck off.

The beer looks good in the picture Phil, is it a local one?

I'm only jealous of those dishes Leeds, you may be self isolating but you bloody doing it right.

It's a Big Yin by Overtone, a10% Triple NEIPA. Not an island brewery (they're a Glasgow based micro), but Krafty J's are the island's distributor. A mixed box of Overtone, 10 beers for £30. Bargain!
