The Goggle Box Thread

I bloody loved that for Christmas viewing.
I have the DVD

I've mentioned to LJ previously that when I was a lad some rich friends of ours lived in Wassall Wood House near Bewdley and this is where the scenes for Seeking (Harker's home) were filmed, I used to go there on Boxing Day each year so added to the festive spirit for me. Their interior was exactly as shown in the programme apart from mod cons such as TVs, VCRs, etc were removed as it was set in the 1930s

Watching a show called Strike at the moment about a London PI (Tom Burke) who takes on an admin assistant (Holliday Grainger) who becomes his sidekick. Quite enjoying it, series 1 was 2017 so just catching up

Haven't seen it mentioned here but liked Kaos on Netflix. Modern take on ancient Greece, and comedy. Shame a series 2 won't happen though

J K Rowling under a pseudonym - good plots and well acted.

yeah, the "robert galbraith" novels.
Have to say that both actors, whilst doing a good job, don't fit the characters I had in my head after reading the first few books.
Think there is a new strike series gonna be on screen in december.

Hope so, will be fresh in our minds if a new one comes out in December. I like the rapport between the 2 lead actors

Think the new one is going to be The Ink Black Heart, which tbh is a slightly different storyline to the other novels.
The good news is, you have a decent few series to be able to catch up with to build up to that one starting :)

Seems a bit callous of the BBC to be showing a series called ‘Boy Band’s Forever’ when Liam Payne has only just been buried, surely they could have hung on a bit.
