The Goggle Box Thread

The finale of The Mandalorian is one of the best ever episodes of TV I have ever seen.

I've watched it back twice now, and it's just amazing.

The best Star Wars since Empire Strikes Back.
It was amazing. If only the films had been half as good. Apart from Rogue One which is awesome.

On season two of The Mandalorian and really enjoying it, great seeing Timothy Olyphant (perfect casting that was) and Titus Welliver make appearances, it's impressive stuff.

Two episodes of The Mandalorian left.

Don’t know how I felt about Boba Fett coming back into it, I thought he’d died in the Sarlaac pit in Jedi. Still he was a proper hard bastard though and that was an enjoyable watch.

One downside of spending time with the beloved is some of the crap telly I have to sit through. In for a penny and the Masked Singer being highlights so far :-(

I’m watching a really old series called misfits , and I’m really enjoying it - it has a fantastic cast from before they were famous - Ramsey Bolton and Caitlin stark from GoT, klaus from umbrella academy, Claire brown from the good doctor and various other people I recognise popping up.

a really enjoyable 5 series binge watch (though I’m only halfway through season 2 at the moment). It’s nice finding cool stuff without having to wait for new series coming out (Cobra Kai, looking at you, season 3 on the first January...)

Get 2 TVs. Simple.

We do normally, but I like to treat her to some extra 'Pauly time' over the festive season, it's my treat to her, she's a lucky lady :)
I think the fact she'd rather watch rubbish TV is telling.

Finished The Mandalorian, brilliant ending.

Been watching the reruns of the programmes condensing Michael Palins travel series into one programme = one series. Really enjoying Michael reminiscing now he's getting on. Big, big shock was how old the programmes are...Around The World in 80 Days was first shown in 1989.......31 fucking years ago, couldn't believe it

Watched those & re read all of the books again.

Hard to believe that I was only 39 when the first one aired - can't remember what I was like then with a 3 yr old in tow!

Watched 'Scream For Me Sarajevo' last night....uplifting at times but harrowing for some

Dr Who - How did the lad playing Ryan ever get a job in acting? He's fucking terrible.

You do realise saying that on here is the same as walking across a minefield in clown shoes.
I await the nerd lashing you're about to get

Great episode that. Not watched much Dr Who for a while, but that was proper good.
