There are excuses being made now, that weren't being made on the day. First it was "religion of peace strikes again", then "he's not white or 53, look at this brown man getting arrested", then "they haven't said he was the driver", then "why haven't they named him yet, bet his name won't be John Smith", and now it's "Liverpool fans attacked him and he had a panic attack".

OK I mean obviously people on both sides these days enjoy winding themselves up, but if you're gonna willingly watch GB News and 'anti-woke' social media pages then what exactly are you expecting to see and why are you exasperated by it?

Everyone having an opinion on everything isn't a new thing, but everyone being able to share it to "everyone" is a new thing. I don't think that's going to change.
