Sky Sports Quirk breaking :- Barnsley look fucked and may get a points deduction for pissing off the EFL.

Jordan Henderson could be on 700k a week in Saudi Arabi. Dan's dodgy calf and Kenny's floppy hand still have a chance yet....

Given how outspoken he's been in support of LGBT rights, I'm really disappointed at Henderson taking the Saudi pound.

I was in the same boat with Neves, but Neves never made any big public stances.

From a certain perspective, taking their money is less morally repugnant than the ways they “earned” all that cash in the first place.

Said it when Ruben moved; that money is probably better served being spent on footballers than some of the other shit KSA might spend it on.

Blues takeover officially gone through.

No love at all for them as a club (quite the opposite) but they have had nearly 15 years now of SHIT ownership (and bear in mind - they're making Gold, Sullivan and Brady look good in comparison) so hard to begrudge them a bit of good news.

Some talk they're planning to leave St Andrews completely, so much needs doing to it and as we all know, it's hardly in a great area.

First action for the Shelby Corp (or whatever they have called themselves) Pay £2m+ for Dion.
I think that Luton want to sign Tahith(sp?) for £5M rising to £10M so they can afford him!

Birmingham Wheels Park has been mooted as a potential site. Only a mile or so away.

I'm sure we've had two separate games at St Andrews where bits of the roof have flown off :D

It's an awful, awful ground. Never want to go there ever again.

The one I remember, it was a miracle no one was killed! A corrugated sheet hit the first row of vacant seating, if Blues were as a big a club as they think they are (were) it would have sliced someone in half.

Horrible.

2002 was definitely one, when we drew 2-2 from being 2-0 up (Oakes howler then Ratface Devlin scored when he should have been sent off two minutes earlier for a shocker of a challenge on Mo Camara). I know because I was back home for Easter from Hamburg so one of the few games in 01/02 I actually went to.

Think maybe it happened in the 4-0 in 1992 as well?

Yeah I'd say it was the 2002 one I'm thinking of, especially if the game was televised.

But then again the Darren Roberts 4-0 was definitely televised. What a game that was, aside from Roberts, Bull absolutely smashed Andy Gosney so Gleghorn went in goal IIRC.
