I’ve never seen an idea as universally hated as this (in the game of football) as what DW said earlier in the thread if Wolves were part of this. I think I’d find another way to spend my saturdays or follow a non league team

The government have now announced a fan lead review of ownership and promised whatever legal action they can take if the governing bodies can't stop this happening, inc considering retrospective application of new laws to force a legally binding fan vote on applying to be in new leagues.
I'm sure proper reports of the HoC debate will provide a better update than that!

I know it’s been said to death at this point but irregardless of how much we hate this. The money will be there from countries like china & India. Hopefully the government, FA, uefa & fifa kill this idea dead & when we can pack stadium we let the sky 6 know theyre scum for trying this.

I’d be very happy playing in the Europa league next season alongside the likes of Lyon, Marseille, Leverkusen, Frankfurt, Granada, Bilbao, Verona, Sampdoria, Dinamo, Spartak, Vitesse, Feyenoord. Plenty of great attractive opposition in there that I’d happily against in Europe
