The Film Thread

Watched The Midnight Sky last night, two hours where virtually nothing happens which builds up to an crescendo of nothing happening, someone somewhere must have had an idea, wrote it on a post it note and then George Clooney has come along and said I can stretch that out into a couple of hour movie.
were there many stars in it?

I’d spotted that on Netflix, might give it a watch.

Watched Last Jedi last night, some good bits, some bad bits, some really bad bits. I’ll watch Rise of Skywalker tomorrow to finally finish the series off. Then Rogue One again to save the best til last.

Shocking, 'the wild bunch' of TWF posters found it enjoyable :)

The Midnight Sky's budget was £100m. Shocking scenes.

Button Moon was produced for a fraction of that.

The wife is making me watch The Midnight Sky.

”Shall we watch a film? What do you fancy?” After a LONG list of what I’d like to watch, followed by no, no, no she says “let’s watch this”. 🙄

My Mom's bought a notebook specifically to list all of the films she's seen, now she's a Netflix gal!

Bless her cotton socks.

One of the dullest, most predictable things I’ve watched in years and I’ve seen a Dean Saunders Wolves team play

Don't tell Tredman or Langers they enjoyed it, but it has got space in it :)

I watched the first half hour so far. It looks pretty but not a lot is going on.

We watched Soul last night with the kids.

Thought it was absolutely tremendous, such a beautiful concept - one of Pixar's best films.

A bit of a change from the previous night's offering - Apocalypto. Which we watched without the kids, obvs. Also fucking brilliant.

Watched Terminator Genisys for the first time, as poor reviews and Terminator Salvation had put me off doing so previously. Surprisingly, it did not suck at all.

I watched Souls last night and I thought it was mediocre!
