I wonder if Ferrari are beginning to regret the move for Lewis?
From a marketing/commercial pov....no.

Odd one today as Lewis was looking very quick all day. Final lap, just nothing as if the new tyres didn't warm up at all. Possible they should have copied McLaren and gone for 2 laps on them.

Think it was more to do with the wind. According to the commentary, the first part of the session was a lot less windy than the final part... a fact backed up that virtually no-one improved their time at the back end of the session.

Lando only 7 points behind Leclerc in the champ now. Both Alpine’s scoring points. Green shoots of F1 recovery.

Yep. It’s a heck of a contest this season.

I can deal with Verstappen winning races like that though, if the safety car hadn’t come out he didn’t have the pace to match Lando and Russel might have even had a chance if he’d been p2 after the second safety car as he had good speed.

Also funny watching Perez fail which gives hope for the constructors (would help if Ferrari hadn’t turned to crap this week though!)

Lando on pole in Spain.

Ahead of Max and Lewis.
