The Darts Thread

Humphries out with two losses out of two.

Shame it had to be that complete wanker Wade who fired the bullet.

The first to five is a killer when the standard is inevitably so high.

Although I lost any interest when the morons in attendance tried to boo the trans woman off the stage last night. And Sky unsurprisingly made no reference to it despite the fact they clearly turned the stage microphones down so much so you could barely hear the scores being called.

If it's any consolation, didn't notice anything of the sort in her game vs Joyce earlier, so hopefully just a few mindless idiots on one day which can happen anywhere sadly.

He pretty much gets stick from every modern day darts crowd with “we all hate Leeds scum” and “Leeds are falling apart again” chants. It must become tiresome.

Littler has won his first two games by a cumulative 10-1 in about 20 minutes. Frightening.

Red hot favourite now.

Prolific from De Decker there.

This is Littler’s tournament to lose, though. Loved that earlier where he set up for the 170 finish, missed it - Ilagan checks out and then Littler is one away from a nine darter. The lad is ridiculous.

James Wade vs Cameron Menzies
Danny Noppert vs Mickey Mansell
Martin Lukeman vs Ross Smith
Ritchie Edhouse vs Rob Cross
Jermaine Wattimena vs Dimitri van den Bergh
Luke Littler vs Mike de Decker
Gary Anderson vs Stephen Bunting
Gian van Veen vs Ryan Joyce

Rob Cross should be looking at his side of the draw and thinking he should be making the final.

Anderson looks back to his best, has looked good all season, but will no doubt lose here to Bunting

I did not see Mickey fucking Mansell being a quarter finalist

Modern day darts crowds are all tiresome
Yeah, mostly an excuse for a night on the piss, I’m old enough to remember pre PDC, BBC 2 with Sid Waddell and Tony Green, definitely a different crowd in those days.

Martin Lukeman then Cameron Menzies or Mickey Mansell to get there. Rare you'll have that kind of route!

Wow. Serious amount of missed match darts there.

The whistler on De Decker’s throw is even doing my head in.

Some serious scoring here. Both been fantastic.

Also think I’ve hit a milestone this evening. Not a moment where I was interested in watching England ahead of the darts.

Tell you what. That’s some win by Littler. Showed some serious metal there.

The crowd treatment of De Decker was fairly shit and definitely contributed.

Still 103 & 104 averages. Metal.
