- Pick Hazlewood and Cummins when they're both injured
- Both pull out before the tournament starts and don't travel
- For some reason, only replace Cummins, so the squad is a man short for a fortnight (even though Hazlewood has 0% chance of getting fit)
- Panic after losing to Zimbabwe and call Smith up to fly thousands of miles
- Drop a batsman for the next game. The bloke who scored 65 against Zimbabwe. More than double what anyone else managed
- But still don't pick Smith. So he's flown all that way to field for a couple of overs
- Lose again, very likely to be out of the tournament

They need to beat Oman
Then it's NRR but they're currently miles behind Zimbabwe (1.984 vs 0.414)

Maxwell 37
Stoinis 36
Zampa 33

Not involved but Smith is 36, Hazlewood is 35, Starc is 36, Boland is 37 in a few weeks, Carey is 34, Lyon is 38

They have quite a good crop of youngsters coming through, particularly with the bat, people like Fraser-McGurk, Matt Renshaw but not sure about the bowlers.

Maxwell was garbage in the Big Bash but they have still picked him anyway.

Maxwell is like how Mo got with us at the end, picked because of what he did years and years ago and what he might do if you believe hard enough, not because of what he is now
