Khawaja out so expect Travis Head to open.

Hope you like Brizvegas. Have a look at Caxton Street down by Suncorp stadium for a couple of decent watering holes.
Will check it out! In Fortitude Valley tonight as I managed to get tickets to one of my favourite artists at the Music Hall.

Went past Suncorp on the train in so will hop off there and have a beer this week.

If you head down to the river, go to the north bank under the Story Bridge (which is distinctive as you can get - steel affair right on the bend of the river that you can see for quite a distance), there is a place called Felons brewing co. that does superb food and pumps beer straight into the place from the Felons brewery. I can heartily recommend it. You can see it clearly as Felons is written on the roof in massive letters. All of that wharf on the river has good restaurants. You can see the floods of the Gabba from around there so you won't be too far away for sure.

Just keep an eye out for the cane toads.

Range brewing is probably the best in Brizzy. They've collabed with Cloudwater, Track, Deya, and Basqueland to name a few.

Robin Smith has died.

A brilliant player and treated awfully by Ray Illingworth (like many others).

A limited edition print of the man that I own. Sad news to hear of his passing.

Well the first 15 minutes were just ace. Recovered a bit now, but could we please try and get through the first over with the scoreboard intact?

Having gone to bed following watching one, not waking up to a complete sporting disaster is good.

Just hope Root gets a 100 and shuts up all the Aussie critics

They are just grouchy because he has gone past Ponting in terms of test runs.

I'm 180k south of Brisbane and the sun is just beginning to set here, so I expect if the pink ball is going to do the usual it should be about now. Thankfully the twilight isn't very long at this latitude.

Root just got a little bogged down here as the sun sets.

So, 196-4 after 2 sessions. The dinner break arrives at exactly the right time as it should be almost fully dark when they come back out.

As an aside. Two sessions. FORTY-SEVEN overs. That is pathetic. And Convict CC should get hammered for slow over rate.

If Brook hadn’t given his wicket away we’d be comfortably looking at 400+. Instead, lose a wicket and we could be all out in 5 overs.
