The can we beat the record(?) Crystal Palace v Wolves 22/2 Build up and match thread.

Blokes played like a cart horse all game, just simple control earlier he gets at least a shot away, misses the target with a header 5 yards out, back pass of a shot from the edge of the area and a shocking penalty. Fair to say Tolu will cost us this game.
RE will moan about Hughes not getting a red and how well we competed for 45 minutes.

Palace probably need 3 or 4 points so have probably got enough to survive this season but unless they have an incredible summer they're going to really struggle next season the money they've spent recently has been on some real shit.

He’s so weird. He gives it a good go against defenders and can hold it up at times but his touch is awful, he can’t head it and he can’t shoot either

Why the fuck they let him take it I don’t know.

We’ve not even been that bad (or as bad as palace have been anyway). The midfield two have dominated their two, and they’ll have to take Hughes off you’d imagine. If we could just get him and Wharton sent off we might get a draw

Problem is the amount of chances he’s had today is about as many as you’d get in a championship game and he’s still not scored.

Two poor teams, thought we grew into the game and were comfortably the better team, created a few half chances.
Tolu is shit, I had zero confidence when he stepped up and neither did he. If you lack confidence just slam it down the middle.
This is where the double jeapody doesnt work, as good a goal scoring chance that you can have, a bad challenge and we get nothing from it.

No idea why Armstrong didn’t take it.
Tolu hasn't taken many penalties in his career (think we can see why), but he hadn't ever not scored from one either. Still, an odd choice. He can't be the designated penalty taker with no history of taking them.

Sky just said it was his 5th straight miss?
