No I am just disappointed that we lost to a team we should have beaten. And if we play like that next season we will be where Swansea are now.

Lets be honest here, we could not have had a better cup draw, and we have made a mess of it.

You have a good point in that we should have beaten them.
But mate it has no bearing on next season

Well say you're disappointed then, don't make bullshit up which is what you did. You know we're not going to play like that next season so again why even say it. Yeah decent draw but we weren't going to win it and we can now carry on walking the league that we are 10 points clear in with our first choice team.

People may criticise me all they like, but we have had two chances to beat the worst team in the premier league, and have failed to do so. I fear we are in for a difficult time next season.
This is such tiresome, simplistic, badly-informed nonsense.

With our current manager, coaching team and squad, we're already a step ahead of the average team promoted from the Championship. Add in the Mendes link and the draw of PL football to potential new signings and I simply cannot comprehend the basis of your argument.

When we were poor/mediocre, you spent every week predicting a Wolves win despite there being no evidence to suggest we would.

Now we're flying high at the top of the league, playing PL quality football with PL quality players and you're the most pessimistic, critical person on the forum.

A loss away at Swansea in the cup with a weakened team, awful conditions and some key individual errors and you're saying how we're going to struggle in the PL.

You must know what you're doing here with posts like this. It's deliberately incendiary and unbelievably tedious.

And our first team couldn't score against Barnsley, or did I make that up.

Sorry but you are wrong. He has been working and living in Germany for a few years.

The big shame is that no criticism of another below par performance is allowed on here. If people were honest they would admit how poor we were. And that was my point, play like that next season and god help us.

If it was constructive criticism you wouldn't get called out for it. As per usual though it's the same old we lost/drew/didn't score/we're going to struggle when we go up nonsense.

We're 10 POINTS CLEAR in the league and our second string lost a cup tie that means nothing.

Surely, you are on a wind up? Clearly we are playing our second string, so how can you compare that to how a first team (Which will change) will play next season.

Edit: Why did I respond, of course you are on a wind up.

I for one love the FA Cup. I have seen Wolves in two league cup finals, both legs of the UEFA Cup final, and couple of FA Cup semi finals. But my biggest desire is to see Wolves in a FA Cup final, and I am so disappointed that we have yet again surrendered any opportunity we had.

This needs to be closed off NOW - the verdict thread is open

Having 2 just confuses the issue

That makes a lot of sense. From what I remember it follows the same pattern, say something inflammatory / over the top then get disagreed with before claiming victimisation

I'd love to see us in a cup final too. Modern football doesn't allow it with the money riding on promotion/relegation though. A shame but that's the reality.

Plus we play more games as it is in this league compared to the Prem teams. Because of that we should have a better chance of a cup run once we're promoted than in this league.
