Not if he plays like he has for the last two years. Receive ball, fanny around with it for five seconds, knock a five yard backwards pass to the left back.
If Grealish finds form then a brilliant signing. Everton hoping a World Cup year helps him find his mojo again. He will be the main man again and become an annoying little fucker again.
Struggles with injuries too. I think that Grealish was a more dangerous player before the move to City and I’d imagine that Everton will give him licence to roam.
I mean they had a window under Koeman where they signed three #10s all at once. Ignoring the likes of Beardsley, Cahill, James Rodriguez etc down the years.
I don't know the real story but from a distance it looks like an average player who was grossly overhyped and thought he could leave Everton and walk into any club in the land when really he should have just stayed at the bigger club where he was worshipped by the fans.
Calvert-Lewin's availability has been fine for a while. 59 league appearances in the last 2 seasons, so averaging a tick under 30 a year (yeah, thanks Vorderman). That's not bad. Most forwards miss a few games a season. Hwang for instance has only managed 30 league games in a season once in his entire career.
The issue has been that he has been shite for ages. He scored 16 in 2020/21 alone (one of his two good seasons) and has managed 17 league goals ever since.
He's also 28 now so "potential" doesn't come into it unless you're also expecting Bright Enobakhare to come good.
