Stats and Analysis Thread

See that one has a bit of sense about it. Two clearly measurable figures on the axes.

The expected threat one is just a month long carnival of utter bollocks though

One more league goal for Cunha and for the first ever time we will have two players with 10+ PL goals in the same season.
I wonder what the odds are for both of them to end up with 15 a piece.

I’d forgotten how well Lage was doing until he managed to piss off half the squad and Sa stopped saving everything.

We were so, so bad to watch

Absolutely robbed a load of those points, then ironically got robbed at Arsenal and never recovered. We were properly fluking it though.

Absolutely. When the wheels came off they all did in one go. Still find it baffling that anyone who watched the remainder of that season could still think it made sense to keep him as manager. Every warning sign was flashing but ignored and even last season some fans thought he deserved more time.

That was a great transfer window. Gave Traore away for fuck all and replaced him with an inexperienced kid in Chiquinho
Yep, felt like we were just giving Traore his dream regardless of how it effected us, ridiculous.

It was nonsense but we were going to fall apart regardless, it was all built on nothing.

We had a run that Nov/Dec of scoring 2 goals in 8 games and that was when things were going "well".

I suspect wide players, especially fullbacks score high on using their best foot as once they’re in control of the ball it will be on their best one. Central players are the ones where ambipedality (!) is most important. I’d love to know what Kevin Sheedey’s stats were, undoubtedly the most one footed player I’ve ever seen.
Paul Cook too, and Kev McDonald.

There have been quite a few.

Nearly always left footers as they get away with murder.

Nigel Winterburn wins the all-time title for me, wouldn't even control it with his right foot.
